Rodrigo Espinoza
Rodrigo Espinoza started his second term as Merced County Supervisor of District 1 on January 3rd, 2021. Espinoza first moved to Merced County as an immigrant from Mexico at the age of 10. He attended schools in Merced County and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal justice in 1994 from CSU Stanislaus. Espinoza grew up working in the fields on weekends and in summers with his Parents and 5 siblings. Picking grapes, peaches, cherries, apricots, etc. The family eventually bought some farms and currently own about 200 acres of farm ground in the Central valley.
Espinoza ran for the Livingston City council in 2002-2008 two terms and mayor from 2010 thru 2016 serving 3 two year terms for the Sweet potato City of Livingston California. Always remembering his roots, is constantly supporting the constituents of Merced County. Espinoza is Married to Ana since 1993 and has 3 kids Erik 24, Breanna 17, and Matthew 11.
